Tony Clifton was discovered by the legendary comedian Andy Kaufman in 1969, while performing in a seedy lounge in Las Vegas. Kaufman was immediately mesmerized and signed Clifton to open for him on several occasions, most notably his historic "Carnagie Hall" Concert. After Kaufman's untimely departure, Clifton made a miraculous appearance at the Comedy Store one year to the day after Kaufman's death. Clifton will be backed by the 12-piece Comic Relief-sponsored Katrina Kiss-My-Ass Orchestra, and burlesque troupe the Cliftonettes. It promises to be a kick-ass, not-to-be-missed show in the intimate nightclub setting of The Birchmere. Seating is limited, and it will be an unforgettable experience for those present.

I can't stand Pink Floyd but that's particularly cruel for people who are fans of theirs, isn't it?   A touring production of "The Wall" is like the Second Coming for them.

ONE song at ONE show and it's going to be completely unannounced?  I believe this "The Wall" tour is selling well anyhow but now it's going to be like eating candy to find the Golden Ticket:  "Ohhh, there's some $180 tickets still available for that thrid night in Philly!  Will that be the night?  What about the second night in Chicago?  Those tix are only $140.  How far away is Toronto?..."

That would be like Morrissey announcing he'll show up at ONE Healers concert unannounced to do "Still Ill."

I don't think it's meant to sell more tickets. Unless it will actually be a surprise which show he decides, it's clearly going to be just one of the UK shows close to where Gilmour lives, or maybe Berlin, just for the whole Wall thing.
