Public Reading of Student Composer Works
By presenting a public reading of select works by student composers, the Kronos Quartet continues their residency in the School of Music and their joint commitment with the Clarice Smith Center to nurturing fresh new compositional voices in the world of music.
Student composers have worked intimately with the Quartet over the past year to hone their skills and understanding of the relationship between composer and performer.
This public reading, the culmination of their collaboration, invites the audience into the creative process through repeated hearings of each piece.
