I am not the biggest TSP fan by any means but they were at their peak in early '96.

They were a far cry from the Corgan money grab they are now.

Well said. Tis a fucking shame. Few bands could compete with TSP during their peak.

Which BC show did you go to? I went to the one in like 2007 and was IN FUCKING LOVE.  Would be my 1st 6th and I show....

i'm ambivalent about jens... his last show at the BC was pretty average.  but i went there based on reviews of his previous show, which was apparently transcendent.  do i spin the dice once more?

it would be my first 6th & I show too.

jens's 6th and i show will be in that holy time between rosh hashanah and yom kippur so it's gonna be extra special

oh, cool!

I caught both and while the second was great, the '07 one was damn close to transcendent. $25 is a lot, though. Yep, I am cheap.

How is it that nobody in dc booked the Purling Hiss/True Widow/Pontiac bill?
How is it that nobody in DC booked The Psychic Paramount and Disappears?
How is it that nobody in DC booked Pearls and Brass or Serpent Throne?
