RE: roget waters coming back to DC

saw it once and don't really feel that i need to see it again at that price, but it was a damn solid show and definitely glad i saw it once.  if someone offered me a free/very cheap ticket i'd be there in a heartbeat.

how much were these tickets?  This might be an event for the whole family, which will be 4 tickets.  could get $$$$$.

Rafters seats were $60, everything after that was between $100 and $200 if memory serves me right.

Can Peter Buck say, "I'm a millionaire x 100, so I'll shit in a can and shake it into a mic if I want to."

He could but Metallica and Lou Reed already pulled that trick.

You're aiming too high.

My son loves pink floyd.  I might have to take him and watch his head explode.

I'm calling Child Services.  Abuse like that should not be tolerated.  He learned it by watching you!

It is definitely not near the top of the list of my favorite floyd albums, but it has its moments.

I'd not go to this on my own.  But my little doppelganger would lose his mind at this show.  It's too much to resist.

^ Do it, Chaz! Do it!

Just think, that when he's all grown up and looks back on those exploding moments, he'll have incredible memories and stories to tell. Besides, those days are numbered, especially now that we'll probably never see a full Pink Floyd again. We already know that if there would be some sort of reforming, it still wouldn't be quite the same since they could only gather so many original members. This is a chance in a lifetime for the little rocking Chazster.

But look at our economy!  Tickets to this, in a stadium, will cost hundreds!

Some rubber cement, a couple cans of Reddi-Whip, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" (because "The Wall"...it's about connecting....with people.....MAN!....) from Redbox, the audio through the Windows Media Player for visualizations.  That only costs, like $15!

I would think a guy who calls himself "Chaz" is probably immune to any economic downturn.

Hardly the case...but with a bit of budgeting I can most definitely afford to spend a couple hundred bucks on something like this every once in a while.

And as my screen name would suggest, there is nary a shred of bro-ishness in my personality.  My name is Charlie, and I have a few friends who call me Chaz...so way back when, when creating this account, that's the first thing that popped into my head.  And I never changed it, even during the multiple name changing frenzies of the last decade.

I would think a guy who calls himself "Chaz" is probably immune to any economic downturn.

BoDeans
Rams Head on Stage
11/1

Maybe I'm the last person to know, but apparently Sammy quit the band a few months ago.  Via text message.  While the band was on tour.  So it's just Kurt and five other guys now.  Still a good show, though.
