Speaking of the Lincoln Theater, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned an appearance by one of the greatest live acts of all time...now that I got my pair or FREE tickets, I will.

The Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture invites you to join Angelo Moore, Norwood Fisher, and directors Chris Metzler and Lev Anderson for a screening of Everyday Sunshine: The Story of Fishbone. The film chronicles Fishbone?s fusion of funk, hard rock, punk, and soul as well as the band?s legacy as music trailblazers. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and special live performance by the Band.

**This event is free but requires a ticket for admittance; limit 2 per person. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Lincoln Theatre Box Office on a first-come, first-serve basis Wednesday, November 9, 10:30am-3:00pm, Thursday, November 10, 10:30am-3:00pm, and day of event 12Noon until perfomance.**

good news!
the latter...although i would not be surprised if it is ALL an act..


it will be interesting to see how this show sells.. beady eye as we know has yet not sold out.. in a venue far smaller than the warner..


can noel move 1800 tickets- in DC- at what is sure to be a premium? i'm skeptical..

Noel sold out philly and boston on this current tour, though im not sure what the capacity is at those gigs

Wish I could have pulled that.  Great and and the clips lead me to believe the film is pretty damn good, too.
