Welcome to the new forum
Until the last few years, shows that were $40+ were quite rare. My 400 shows are spread out over nearly 30 years of concert going. When I first started going to shows, you could see bands like Van Halen, Rush, Queen, or Ozzy at the local hockey arena for under $10.I guess my point was that it seems foolish to pay $45 to see Ryan Adams when you can see someone who's equal or better, for $15. Someone like A.A. Bondy. But I guess for some people, there's no real difference between $15 and $45.Quote from: Yada on December 01, 2011, 01:32:59 pmWell, $10 in the late 70's to early 80's is equal to about $26 to $40 in today's dollars, so that is not a big of a difference. Also, It's possible that the production costs of large shows today is relatively higher than they were then. Also, yes, for some people the difference between $15 and $45 is not that big of a deal, so can you now stop posting about your disbelief in this phenomenon?

Just embrace the fact that Rhett is culturally and fiscally superior to all of us.
