The food industry gets away with enough as it is. What makes you think their practices would not become more disgusting in the name of cost effectiveness if regulations they supposedly have to abide by were relaxed? Minimum wage worker working with big industrial meat grinder and not given proper safety equipment+accident in which worker gets pinky chopped off = parts of people in your ground beef. He would abolish the FDA, TSA, EPA, SEC and a number of other organizations that have been put in place as consumer watchdogs, would he not? You will also probably see more faulty cars/airplanes/other vehicles not fit for driving on the road/flying in the air both on the road and in the air, a relaxing of child labor laws, more rampant white collar crime (which under Paul's rule would no longer be crime) and a rise in the amount of homeless in Ron Paul's America. Luckily for us, Ron Paul's America will remain a fantasy.

Ron Paul makes a lot of sense on a lot of things... again, my right to use whatever drug I want, my right not to have the government always telling me what to do, my right not to be treated like a terrorist at the airport..my right not to be arrested and have no ability to defend myself.. .

and the list goes on and on... and some of these things are quite important.


Before you post any more why don't you think about all the damage and harm that was done to the US from the two wars we are still winding down? or the wars that the other Republican candidates look forward to starting?

You tweet a lot about how the Republican candidates are all sucking up to Israel.. well Ron Paul is the only one not doing that (in either party btw).. does that mean nothing to you?  well then stop tweeting about it.


I will proudly be voting for Barack Obama in the fall.. and glad to do it in a state where the vote will matter.. but that doesn't mean that I call Ron Paul a loon and dismiss him categorically when on many of the important issues he's actually the one making the most sense.. and if you think the President of the United States has so much power that he would guarantee human parts in ground beef, well, you're living in the lala land you say Paul is...


Listen, I get it man, you're hip.. you're liberal and its hip to put down any Republican.. but I mean, seriously, do some thinking for yourself.

Like I said, few pros (the ones you pointed out) but the cons far outweigh them.

I did plenty of research and thinking for myself. The shit he favors goes way beyond the soundbites you are spitting out.

And I am not putting him down because he is a Republican. I have often said that it is a shame that Buddy Roemer does not get the same exposure Ron Paul gets. He has many of the same pros and none of the crazy. Still a bit too pro-deregulation for my comfort but within reason.
