Ive actually heard of a couple of those. 

Does anyone know any info on Scapescape for this year, other than Believers are playing and its on 8/30?  Im still kicking myself for not going last year.

noted. $36 is not too much anymore. Did Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds even charge that much??? If they did barely.. and we're talking about NICK CAVE.


I saw the dirty three at the black cat on their tour for the first album.. i find their music is kind of boring.. i like it in small doses but an entire album is just too much for me to take. For a few minutes I'll be like "oh this is really cool... " but eventually it just wears me out.

Finally a DC show... the last time he came anywhere near was Ramshead Annapolis and there was supposed to be a Jaxx show but it never happenened which messed things up for me as I  was going to go to Jaxx and by the time it was cancelled the only seats left at Ramshead were no good not to mention seeing him at a sitdown place seemed off to me.... I don't believe he has played the area (not counting Annapolis) in the past 10 years!

Last Nick Cave shows were $45. And for the record, I still think $36 is high for most bands including The Dirty three but it doesn't surprise me given the location. Maybe it is because it costs a lot to rent it or something but Sixth and I shows  generally cost more.

Nice. Definitely going to that Rodriguez show. Once more people see Searching for Sugar Man, the demand to see him should be enough to fill that room.
