Wolftrap

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, who released Push the Sky Away and played a sold-out run of shows earlier this year (including three in NYC at Beacon Theatre), will embark on an 18 city tour in summer 2014 (mid June to early August). Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, November 22, but look out for a special offer and more information on Monday (11/18). Meanwhile, cities (but not dates or venues) where the tour will hit are listed below.

If that list of cities is in order, it seems likely that they would play dc in late July or early August.

i don't think they will announce a wolftrap show that far in advance but perhaps... seems like a strange venue not to mention he has alwasy gone with Seth/IMP/930 every single time he has played in DC going back to at least the mid 1980s!!!!!!!

what i don't get is why jubilee street is not on the live album.. it was the highlight of his strathmore show! maybe they messed it up on KCRW..who knows..

this is within fourty five minutes or so from where i live . . . great.  i like festivals and all, but this one indeed "carries baggage."

DAR was what I thought of immediately.. its bigger than Strathmore and surely cheaper to rent and way crummier soundwise and with respect to sight lines

Its a let down for sure.
