The reality is Ratbastard and other conservative wackjobs hate Bruce because he supported Kerry and Obama... they can't admit it though so they resort to taking issue with his supposed "hypocrisy"......
Please do not make such asinine statements. I dislike Brice solely for his blatant "two-faced-ness". I have no idea who he supports politically and I do not care. Truth be told I am not even as conservative as you think I am. Although compared to the standard DC voter, anyone who does not think the government should be the sole provider of everything a citizen needs AND wants in life would be considered conservative, so I can see how you fall into that silly assumption.
BTW I most likely saw Springsteen perform long before you were even born. I believe it was in June of 1970 at the String Factory in Richmond. His band at the time was Steel Mill. I like Springsteen's early releases and think he is a great musician (although nothing after his first three albums can touch those).
