(The new album is sooo bad.)
I gave up after two songs...  :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
I will go because its a mile away at $25 and just hope they play a lot of stuff off the first three LPs.

What happened to Matt Tong, the old drummer? I see he's not in the new band photo.

Left 2 albums ago, I think.

$85 GA (meaning-- you get to chose your own seat after best seats are taken by the people who cough up an additional $240 for "1 GA Ticket - 1 autographed poster - Access for 1 person to a preshow 3 song acoustic performance and Q&A with Billy Corgan."  That's a scant $325)

DC Brau's Five Year anniversary show w/ The Sword, Kvelertak, Torche, Serpent Throne & Loud Boyz. Saturday April 16th @ DC Brau.

There will also be an unveiling of five collaborative beers. 1pm-9pm $45 in advance $60 at the door.

Hmm its the day after Iggy Pop in Philly and same day as The Feelies. Doing both shows is possible actually hah. I am quite tempted even with the steep price tag. The Sword was $30 at RNR Hotel a few weeks ago and they only had one opener. Norway's Kvelertak are awesome live and have not been around in a long time too.

Good thing we all saw them back at that $3 for three bands show at the 9:30 back in the day. Right?

I actually didn't, but I once did see them in a triple header with Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the opening band, some new band called Pearl Jam. I won the tickets on the college radio station, and couldn't convince any of my friends the show was worth going to for free. I only caught the last two songs of PJ, and thought they sounded promising. SP were ok, and RHCP were so tired I left early. Didn't help that the show was in a college hockey arena sound was terrible.

Which one?

RPI?s Houston Field House, 11/5/91

Also saw a triple bill with Neil Young and Crazy Horse/Sonic Youth/Social Distortion there which was much more my speed. Enjoyed all three, especially Neil. One of my biggest memories of that show was the crowd booing and throwing trash at Sonic Youth throughout the whole show. I guess the classic rock crowd wasn't ready to handle anything as alternative as Sonic Youth at that time.

Also saw Public Enemy with Anthrax there I think...the most notable thing about that show was my friend being so drunk he slept through the Anthrax set.

I don't care for Public Enemy w/Anthrax but those other two shows are incredible triple-bills.

I think I won free tickets to all three of them. Oh how i miss the days of college radio when i was apparently the only person listening.

This is funny... I saw this line up in Chicago and that was the exact same crowd reaction during SY's set

What I found interesting is that Neil Yong did this 20 minute feedback thing, no different what SY was doing, so the crowd reaction didn't make sense to me
