I cant recommend their 2016 album Waco enough... RIYL 90s alternative and grunge.  These Aussies will probably put on a great show. I am hoping for a Baltimore show the day before (they do have it off on their schedule) but will go to DC9 if not.

but seriously the options for an area Misfits show are not great... Patriot Center, Mehchostage, DAR Constitution Hall.................

or maybe do Verizon Center and charge $20 a ticket...and see how many show up? An alternate would be "Surprise at the Club The Misfits" and do two short shows in one night and charge $100 per ticket...

Apparently the drummer is to be announced at a special press conference? Speculation running rampant...
