Jonathan Richman is the best! But watch out for early start times....I guess I've seen him three or four times now... I think he's a national treasure.

I might use my pass for this show.  It wont cost me anything but my time if I don't like it (I have yet to hear his music).

You do not have to do that for everything.

Yeah, I had just never heard of those bands, and wouldn't even consider going to the show without knowing anything about them.  I listened to a little bit of each of them.  I think Halloween Tres is my favorite on the list, based on extremely limited first impressions.

Which one (or ones) do you like best?

Ok.  So?  People can look up bands  that they do not know  and do not need your help. You were doing it for everything, not just obscure bands.

I think the descriptions are great.. almost essential.... should be required.. I mean some people lists bands with names like Power Butt but they are even in acronym form to make matters ore confusing that nobody has ever heard about... I would like to know a bit something... just throwing hundreds of hobo rock bands out isn't helpfful...


now if you're listing dinosaur rock bands no description is required although its always helpful....For example I had no idea Night Ranger had written and scored hits with two subsquent big hits for Jefferson Airplane, Airplane, Jefferson Starship or Starship (not sure of their name)
