I don't think I've ever seen them.. Sidehatch used to play their records all the time around when Dookie came out...I liked them at the time....They came out of that Descendents type thing at the beginning....then things couldn't help but change when they went stratosphere... I think Green Day and Rancid came out of the same scene in the San Francisco Bay Area but I could be mistaken (connections to Operation Ivy)....

Rancid came out of Op Ivy... Not sure if Green Day has any connection to them.

Energy is an all time classic album IMO.

I just saw them earlier this summer in Richmond because my friend's band was opening and it was free and they were extremely sloppy. The Alkaline Trio guy is a weird fit for the band and the voices don't mesh well. That's a +41 or +44 (I don't remember) reunion masquerading as Blink-182.

I stand by it all. Bruce is trash. Green Day is terrible.   Wilco are boring.  Justin's last album was a pop masterpiece. ETC.   

Don't act like other people on here don't say worse shit every day about artists, actors, people in their lives, politicians, and every movie and tv show that gets released.

I'd pick Blink over GD just because I cringe at thinking about how politically charged GD will be during their show vs how fun and laid back Blink could be.
