Just not announced, hardly anything at Iota...
http://iotaclubandcafe.com/

Makes me wonder how long they'll stay open.  I don't think the bar/restaurant by itself does a ton of business on it's own.  Really liked seeing shows there 5-10 years ago when they booked some decent/good bands.

This is somewhat related.
In a brilliant display of genius trolling on 3/11, the sound person subjected a full Black Cat to 311 and Sublime at the Priests/Coup Sauvage/Atta Girl gig. It was torturous yet I have to give props.

3/24 and 3/25

I'd be torn about this if I was going to be in town.  I still love the first two Keb'Mo' record though I've found him pretty boring as he's moved back to being more R and B.  And Taj Mahal is Taj Mahal.

its two guys with some musical affinity trying to pool their fanbases to sell seats...

I have no interest in Keb Mo and saw Taj last year.. he was great.. I love Taj... But if anyone hasn't seen Taj you really should SOON... he's not going to be around forever

In other words, it's two guys that should be playing the birchmere coming together to play Lincoln theater instead.

1. crusty bread

2. My issue is that they are not the Specials at all.... Jerry Dammers who wrote most of the songs and arranged the music was not asked to be part of the reunion to begin with.. then the drummer died last year.. the guitarist was basically pushed out last year (and he is not happy).. the toaster was pushed out or bought out with the organization arguing he can't tour but yet he has continued to tour in the UK....

At this point its the Terry Hall show with two other members: Horace Panter on bass and Lynval Golding.......Terry Hall still sounds amazing so if a Specials fan goes they will enjoy it..... but the shennanigans really leave a bad taste.. I'm glad I saw them a few years ago when the drummer Bradbury was alive and the guitarist Roddy Radiation had not been pushed out... FIVE Specials is a bit easier to swallow than THREE...I still felt Neville was really missed at the time... not to mention Dammers who by all accounts was the creative genius of the band and the 2-Tone label...
