I've only been to one show there and it's the only place in my life I ever walked out on a bill. We had seats and waited nearly an hour to close our tab while asking for our check twice, so we just left. Thrifty!

We had a very similar experience at a local dining establishment 10ish years ago. Only time I've ever walked out on a bill.

I know it's probably because I'm not cool enough to "get it", but I saw this collective play at the Richmond Folk Festival last year and it quite possibly was the worst live music show I've ever heard.

I've seen them twice (at the Ottobar a few years back and at the last Fields Fest) and those were two of the most transcendent musical experiences that I have had.
