Hey I am glad if others like Fillmore Silver Spring! I find it to be noticeably less intimate than 930 at twice capacity, has awful beer (and I am no beer snob), and is too corporate for my taste...but if others like it great

For me they never seem to book acts I want to see and it is far...I will say parking in that big garage is convenient and free

I know the venue’s GM and she has always been nice to me...

When the venue opened I expected to see tons of shows there but they don’t book my kind of shows...I have seen J Geils Band, Frank Turner, The Specials, Fito Paez, and Ziggy Marley there...I think I paid for Fito Paez but the rest were venue comps and Vas kindly hooked me up for Frank Turner

Also I had to get my id scanned there one time and that was a buzzkill for me...just had never had that happen...
