I have sat in the booth in this dingy basement bar in my wife’s hometown of Saratoga Springs where they claim he wrote American Pie despite him stating several times that he absolutely did not write it or debut it in Saratoga.

I actually was a substitute teacher at Saratoga High School for a year in the early 90's. A couple of 17 year old girls actually gave me their phone numbers (on their own accord, my wife can attest that i don't even know how to flirt), but of course I never called them.
Saratoga is a nice place to visit, though i don't anymore as all of my family has moved or passed on. Too many Trumpies north of Albany for me to ever want to spend more than a day or two.
Also, I think Kosmo is somewhere north of 60. or if not, then pushing it.
