Charlotte is maybe the worst “big” city I’ve ever visited. A just absolute cultural wasteland.

Oy, whenever I see a listing like this I freak - I first read it as two bands playing 9:30 - Thievery and The National. Such a letdown when I realize the show is in Richmond.

Meanwhile they are playing St. Petersburg, FL - Jannus Live. This is where I saw the Psychedelic Furs, Echo & the Bunnymen, Black Flag back in the mid and late 80s when I was a kid.
