Well I didn't care for her on SNL. I realize I'm just on anecdotal person. And that doesn't mean that I don't care for Latin music in general...I have plenty of Latin and Latin-tinged music in my music collection. I just didn't care for her.

My wife always uses the line about music critics being middle aged white males as a way to negate my argument, any time I try to help justify my liking something that she doesn't. I really don't know what the makeup is of music critics.

I did enjoy me some flamenco when I was in Seville back in the early 2000's.

I saw that same show. They guy with the fro also was wearing fingernail polish (turquois blue I think?) I'm not going to knock him for doing that ( I wore toenail poiish for a while when I was much younger.) But seeing him looking like that on a tv news show (the clothes and the nail polish, not the afro) did make me think "This is why the conservatives are laughing at us."
