That's a really creepy question to ask 

Most parents are proud of their kid going to college and want to talk about it, which I am trying to give him an opening to do so, but since this is an online forum and people have different levels of what they want to share, I was trying to word it in such a way that gives him an "out" to say "I do not want to share this info" without feeling like a goon.

Accepted at three Virginia state schools (including the one she wanted), and wait listed at two others. Rejected by none.

It's something I'm happy to share in person, but don't feel the need to post here.

The idea that someone would disrupt an innocent pubic hair discussion in Just Announced to make a crass joke that marginalizes the victims of domestic violence . . . it’s the lack of decorum that most appalls me.
