How about The Feelies and Mission of Burma in a double headliner. Very different bands but very similar audiences.

Good morning, Seth!
Brenda S. from The Feelies says they are hoping to do a DC date. Can you make it happen for us?

Can we get a festival at Merriweather in September along the lines of the Monolith festival at Red Rocks?

As much as I'd love to see this... Did MoB even sellout The Black Cat the last time they were here?

I completely agree with this.  something that would be much more "indie" than Vfest and could have acts on a pair of stages for an affordable price.

Surely would sell at least 5,000 tickets easy.

   great idea!

I'll bet that Red Rocks festival needs to sell way more than 5000 tickets to turn a profit.

well i was thinking of a smaller scale. maybe just one day, you know to see if its something that could work.

and i cant imagine all those bands wanting that much more than a half mil. plus, seth wont really have to rent out a venue...and i know how much Merrwieather staff make an hour!!!

Seth
Can you book THE SILVER BEATS to play 9:30 again?  They are going to play the Virgin Music Festival but it would be great to see them again @ the 9:30 Club.  They are still raving about selling out the 9:30 club in February.
