Since all the kool kidz are asking for reunited band , I'll toss my hat in the ring for The dBs!  New song on the bands website.  http://www.thedbsonline.net/  It dosen't get much better than "Ampilifier" "Working For Someone Else", "Spy in the House of Love", etc... Heck even Charlie might go out for this one   :D

I would like to add this to the Hey Seth thread, even though it was gone over in the FAQ.

Apparently you can buy tickets to Sonar shows at the 930 club box office, but not vice versa.

i think this should definitely be looked into. I know I for one, decline going to many many 930 shows because i dont want to pay $76.50 for 3 $20 concert tickets.  and with the price of gas, its hardly cheaper to drive down there.

since Sonar and 930 are related, i think it would be great to offer 930 tickets in Baltimore with the $1 service charge.  Especially because there is NO tickets.com outlet in Baltimore period.

Hey Seth:  would you PLEASE appoint a woman moderator.  This website is morphing into an on-line mix of Hustler, Unzipped and Mad Magazine.  I'm sick of the men's locker room crap.  Please get Twangirl or Jag plugged in and bring back music/musicians/scenester info without the aggressive mean-spirited personal attacks.

my thoughts exactly... historically the moderators here have been hands off, on the rarest of occasions removing the odd thread or post, setting ground rules, etc.  what you are asking for is that someone to  come aboard and moderate the forum to your liking.  if what you find here troubles you so, why come back?  is it that hard to just scroll past posts that bother you?

this forum has been around since 1997 and for the most part self moderating.  it is also one of the best music oriented forums i've found, which is why i'm here on a daily basis.  most forums i've checked out make my head explode.  the regulars here are well informed about a wide variety of music, the discussion is intelligent and witty.

yes it can get catty and sucks is tossed about on a farily regular basis.  non musical topics appear and disappear quickly, but without some diversion this forum would get stale.

i'm glad the forum is lively, there was a period when the forum would  only have one or two posts on a daily basis.

Do you honestly think this board should be self-policeing?

When a certain pretty but naive 15-year old girl posted her photo on this website, a woman would have been tuned to the fact that this is a major internet NO-NO for kids...and immediately deleted it...and yes, there are a few threads that are wayyyyy beyond appropriate that should be deleted.

It's your playground...but the number of girl-dollars I've dropped at your club might entitle me to an angry-boy-attack-free opinion on occasion...or maybe NOT.

90% of your opinions are whining about other forum members, maybe other forum members would like a break from your whining, you started with your whining about treatment of some forum member months before, you will never be happy

FYI:  I deleted a number of threads when it became apparent a poster was in fact posting information about real people not associated with this forum. All of whom where female employees at local retail outlets.
