yea seth, can you make this happen?  there was a small group of fans last night that were led into the club through the backbar and the lady there said we would be able to get our stubs back after the show but they apparently ran out by the time i got to the front door.

Seth wants to be sure that everybody that was at the show who wants a stub knows that in order to get a stub just stop by the box office while it is open and we can give you one.  Also,  if you are from further afield and it would be easier,  just SASE us and we will send you one.  Dig?

Ditto! They are one of my favorite bands.... [/b]
I can't stop listening to their album. That would be an awesome show! [/b]
I already have a poster I've been working on for these guys.  I would love to see this happen.

DJ Shadow coming to DC?

The US dates so far had no mention of him returning to the 9:30 Club.

Dylan's coming back to town this fall.  Can you get him to play the club again?

Yeah, but I got an e-mail from Ticketmaster today offering me a pre-sale password to his fall tour if I pre-order his new album through iTunes.  Washington was listed as one of the fall tour stops.

I got that email too.  Personally, I'd prefer another show at The Warner Theater.  The club beats the hell out of a baseball stadium though.

no no no, please no warner theater. that was definitely my least favorite dylan show of the past five years. if i'm gonna pay $75, i'd rather see him at the club and not at one of those "should i stand, should i sit, well that person's standing, so maybe i'll stand, but everyone behind me is sitting, fuck, i don't know what i should do" places.

also, seeing dylan at a baseball stadium in the boonies with lots of locals is pretty damn fun, i must say. i've met some hilarious folks at aberdeen and bowie the past couple summers.

Well...I don't remember anything like that going on around me last time.  I do, however, remember the club being insanely crowded and uncomfortable.  Both shows were fun, but I definitely had a better experience at The Warner. <shrug>
