i've seen them plenty, it's alright.
 "just up the road" if you live in dc, but i don't live in dc.  i caught them in baltimore in 02 and 04 though.

 ..seriously, though trust me on the no dc thing.  i've been archiving their tour dates and stuff for years.  i got an email from them asking me for a list a while back, so.. hehe

i don't think they really kept track at a time.
 i just started taking note and stuff.. it could have been a more complete list if i'd started sooner.  i still have a bunch of dates frm 00-02 that i haven't been able to get any confirmation on... some of those really small shows were really up in the air back then.

Ah, so you can fully relate to how perturbed I can sometimes get with some of the DC locals expecting you and I to always forfeit shows for their convenience.     It's always us who are expected to do all of the schlepping.

it's prettymuch always a given that i'm driving ~2hrs or ~100 miles for a show... i prefer that be the limit, but i go farther when i have to (or really want to).
 
 when a band skips dc, i'm pissed because i haven't drive EVEN FARTHER.. not because i can't just hop on the metro or drive across town or whatever.
