Now Morrissey is singing Smiths song himself we have no need for a Smiths reunion. Joyce and Rourke can go fuck themselves, but Morrissey and Marr together would be a 'life changing event' as some of you so like to say and over-dramatize things like this.

Morrissey and Marr were what Lennon and McCartney dreamed about being

I honestly cannot wait for this. Booked and BOOKED.

Oh, and this Smiths reunion thing sounds eerily similar to the supposed Cocteau Twins reunion that was supposed to take place at Coachella some years ago. Yeah...'member that?
Woof.

I heard they were going to cancel this thing on account of the impending depression.

the difference being the cocteau twins were confirmed and listed on the initial lineup announcement. i hastily bought tickets when they went on sale without checking the up to date lineup. not sure if they canceled before or after, but finding out a month before the event not only broke my heart, but put a deep hole in my pocket  :(

oh well, ended up being my favorite coachella.

Seriously, camping at something like that is more draining than you can ever imagine. When I went in '07, I ended up leaving on sunday morning because I couldn't take another second of being out in that heat.
Simply put, if you aren't prepared to spare no expense, don't go to Coachella.

Is it that unbearable???  Bonnaroo is pretty humid and I managed just fine with that heat.

It's not at all humid but it is in the desert. Once the sun is up, you're up.

And it goes from 60-ish to 90+ degrees in literally 5-10 minutes and just gets warmer and warmer and there's no escape from the heat.

In '07, it got upwards of 110 degrees on friday and saturday.

i think the problem with Coachella is that it only gets to like 90 at night some years.

But I loathe camping and i am not alone. If you can bear similar conditions at Bonnaroo, i would say you could do Coachella.

At Coachella though, you're only allowed some tiny little place for a tent, no RV or camper or huge 20 man tent/tarp thing.  It seemed that at Bonnaroo people were allowed way more room to camp.
