it wouldn't surprise me, but wouldn't it be cool if there was another Christine on it - the list of 80s/early 90s bands who continue resurfacing astounds me

Terry Bickers is back with them, I really don't think this will suck. I'm very excited about the reunion and think they will be great. I hope they tour!

I'll take your Christine and raise you a Destroy the Heart. I would rate the chances as slim though. Almost as slim as The London Suede with Anderson and Butler making anything as good as their first 2 albums together.

Meltdown to get US Release on Record Collection
 10 Dec 2004

Record Collection is proud to announce the US release of ASH??s new album Meltdown on March 8th 2005.  The album??s release will coincide with a new Lucas Arts Star Wars videogame Republic Commando that features ASH??s single ??Clones? as the theme song. This marks the first time Lucas Arts has ever used a band??s song in anything Star Wars related.  The US release will feature exclusive bonus tracks and DVD footage not available on the European full length version of Meltdown.

??We are very excited about Meltown,? says Record Collection president Jordan Tappis, "Ash has proven themselves overseas and I am confident that they are poised for great success here in America.  Record Collection proudly welcomes them to our roster."

Ash will tour the US in support of Meltdown this Spring.

I'm completely in your camp on this one. Haven't been able to wait to hear this since I first heard about it awhile ago!

Other new releases that I've been looking forward to besides House Of Love:

 Trespassers William
 Experimental Aircraft
Monster Movie (EP with Rachel Staggs from Experimental Aircraft on vocals)
 I Am Kloot (O'MANKIE ALERT!!!!)
Ulrich Schnauss (Remixes, especially Rachel Goswell's "Coastline")
 The High Dials
 Phaser
 Readymade
 The Wrens
Doves (except I'm fearing this one because I don't like the new single)
 Paik
 Hinterland
 Sennen
 Televise
