Does this have something to do with aliens or UFOs? [/b]
The man is a lot more spaced out than that!

I am from (the home of the World Champion) Anaheim (Angels), CA, right in heart of THE OC.

I received degrees in Political Science and Philosophy in CA before moving to DC in 1996 to go to law school.  After law school, I worked on internet strategies for nonprofits in DC for 5 years.

I recently moved to San Francisco with my girlfriend Smackette who now attends UCSF Medical School.  I took Kosmo's advice and started working from home and may never go to work in an office again (if I can get affordable health insurance - gotta love this country).  I voted no on the recall and did not vote for the Governator.

My favorite band is U2, I like old school everything and I am also a total sports junkie.  Tonight, I have set-up an extra telelvision in the family room because there are two playoff baseball games and the hockey seasons starts.

My guily pleasures are too long to list as I stopped maturing around the age of 15.  I like pop culture and will defend Britney to her dying day.   I am on my way to shave my head like JT, because that's what all cool kids are doing.

My favorite types of writing are sports writers and british comedy writers because they are brutally honest.

X-Box rocks and I suggest everyone get one to pass the time.  Madden, FIFA, and Tony Hawk are my current favorite games.  My personality is way too addictive to play games like Halo.

I think my first show at the 9:30 was the Verve in 97 (or was it 98?) and my last show was X (I think).  My favorite show was Social D in November of 2001.  Nothing like being at home 3000 miles away.

My first show ever was the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan with my folks, who also took me to see David Bowie, The Who, and the US Festival before I ventured off without my folks and saw U2 at the LA Sports Arena on April 22, 1987.

My favorite drinks are Guinness and Live Wire.

The name vansmack comes from my favorite baseball player growing up (Andy Van Slyke) and my uncanny ability to talk a lot of trash while playing/watching sports.

And I don't know Jaguar's secret, but now I'm intrigued and am looking for the answer.

So I guess I should join in, cause all the cool kids are doing it. Suprisingly or not, I'm 15, turning 16 in 5 days...I just moved to MD from NorVA and was born in FLA. I'm more into the arts than academic classes and have no idea what I want to major in. I like most types of music, but am not really in my generation's so called pop. I've gone to alot of really good shows at the club and am really looking foward to seeing brand new with hot rod circuit. should be a good show. so I'm glad this post was entertaining...

OH MY, don't even think about your major -- you're just 16!  This is the shit that pisses me off, that 16 year olds think they have to know the full course of their life.  Unless you're hellbent on being a doctor and need to start getting pre-med stuff in by Freshman year, play it by ear.  As you take classes, your real interests and skills will emerge.  Take a nicely rounded slate of classes, and start worrying about a major sophomore year.
