I totally stole this from TicketFlyAmy, but it's worth sharing. I was skeptical at first, but ended up enjoying it:John Legend and the Roots doing Arcade Fire's "Wake Up"http://pitchfork.com/news/40192-watch-john-legendthe-roots-cover-arcade-fire/The Roots and John Legend just came out with a vintage soul covers album named Wake Up! after the famous Arcade Fire song. But they don't cover Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" on the album. But they did play "Wake Up" when they hit NYC's Terminal 5 last week. Spike Lee was there to tape it as part of Vevo's "Unstaged" series, and you can watch it below:The Roots and John Legend: "Wake Up" (Arcade Fire cover)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKXKJc5DmT4&feature=player_embedded#!
