... because the roads were flooded and there was no way of getting to the parking lot?  maybe in your case someone was negligent and willfully turned you away once you were at the entrance, but i'm under the impression that for the majority of people who never made it there was no way to get to the parking lot b/c of washed out roads.  this was due to the weather, , something nissan pav has no control over.   there was a general lack of communication and people were made to drive in circles, but that wouldn't have changed the outcome.  do correct me if i'm wrong.

It was my impression that they eventually just closed the gates and stopped letting people in.  People were driving right up to the entrance and were turned away.

I think it would be fair to give refunds to anyone that can produce unused tickets.  No refunds for anyone who actually got into the show.

if flooding on the road had prevented you from getting to the parking lot on your own or because of police roadblocks, then i can see that no refunds would be in order, but if Nissan staff were the ones who made you turn around..then they are obligated to refund.

If they themselves were refusing access to their own rain or shine show then they must refund those people.

ah, ok, if staff were turning people away at the gate then refunds are indeed in order.  which means nissan/livenation probably has to refund everyone with an unused ticket - unless they interview each person and determine if they were actively turned away vs. just being stuck in the rain/washed out roads.

Is it too late to bitch about getting sick from this show?

I'm sure I was teased with pneumonia. I'm still drinking cough syrup from that post show clusterfunk.

Exactly.  No one's blaming the individual staff.  But if its a 'rain or shine' show and the venue lacks the capability to honor its obligations to those who paid for parking and to enter the venue (I believe the purchase of the ticket entitles you to both - parking is free BECAUSE its cost is included in the ticket)- and therefore denies ticketholder entry - then purchaser is entitled to a refund.

That's an interesting point. How many of you are still sick from the show? I still have this horrible cough that i got that night. Haven't gotten it checked out yet, but it's almost been a month. Anyone else still ill??

I find all these complaints to be a bit ridiculous.  I got to Nissan plenty early, and there were no problemms at all.  If everyone supposedly knows Nissan is horrible for traffic, it should have been common sense that shitty weather will make that worse, meaning leave really early for the concert.  It seems like common sense to me.

there is a strong argument in favor of common sense = not going to nissan at all.

fair point, but I'm just saying, it's been publicized that Nissan is not a well planned venue, so people should have known to leave early, especially for a sold out show in terrible weather.
