Anyone?  Personally I find the Magic Numbers CD very catchy but that may just be me...

I'll be there.  I haven't heard any Magic Numbers yet, but the Elected album is nice.

I'm curious about how they are live, while there are a couple dud tracks on the CD I suspect this maybe the time to see them live in case their popularity goes through the roof.

I'll be there.  I have been waiting several years to see the Elected.

They were better Tuesday then they were back in November. They are not an exceptional live band, but are very serviceable and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

As for the Elected, they played less then 30 minutes at the Charlottesville show which I thought was disappointing.

I was at the Charlottesville show too, they were great.  Agree with Julian, they were better than they were at DAR.  Yes, it's catchy pop, but they also rock out on a few tunes and they're just very fun.  Nothign earth shattering, but different.

 I missed the Elected.

Actually, I'd say they pretty much are an exceptional live band.

November's show at DAR didn't do them justice. Few bands I've seen seem to enjoy performing as much as the Numbers and it makes for a really satisfying show.

Sounds good, if we can find each other.  I'm getting there right at 8:45 and leaving as soon as Magic Numbers ends (maybe even mid-set) -- I've got an 8:00 a.m. flight out of Dulles tomorrow morning.

I saw Magic Numbers at SXSW, and they were good, but not phenomenal.  Although it was interesting -- many folks who saw them thought they were realy great.  To me, their live performance is just about the same as their album -- good stuff, doesn't blow me away but it's catchy and I enjoy it.  They may not be high on the Bags' playlist a year or two from now, but I'm sure they'll stay in the iPod.

If the club isn't jam packed I suggest meeting up left of the south booth or in the backbar...

I was also at the Charlottesville show. But when Blake asked for the time after being on stage for a few songs, that let me down. Blake is a rock star live. I just wished Daniel Brummel toured with them. Mike Bloom looked like a porn star up there with his leather jacket!

Magic Numbers' a fun band. Nothing impressive as already stated.

But more Elected would have made my night. See you at 930!

Let's stay upstairs so we can appreciate the DJ.   ;)   (And I don't even know who it is, though obviously not Kosmo!)

How does one get to DJ between sets at a show? Is it all employees?
