I don't think anyone thinks it will be at Merriweather, rather that there will be no shows booked at Merriweather that weekend since all the staff will be working at the V Fest.

Maybe the APW lineup is a positive sign for V-Fest. If Seth can bring in some of those mid-card acts like Arctic Monkeys, topple APW's headliners with Pearl Jam, and avoid garbage like Lil Wayne or Blink 182, then we might get a real treat.

I'd die if BLink 182 were at Vfest. As if I need a repeat of walking through the 311 crowd 2 years back.

I'd actually love to see The Black Keys get to perform again this year after getting their set cut WAY short last year because of Weezy. I was really disappointed that The Black Keys only got about 8 songs when they could have performed at least 15.

I would bank on APW Weekend like last year.  Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, MGMT, Arctic Monkeys and Lykke Li make a lot of sense.  The APW headliners are weak.  I am very surprised thats the best they could do.  Hopefully they take the best of APW's undercard and put in some real headliners.  Coldplay and Tool is pathetic.
