early bird tickets for next year's festival are now on sale, $175 until the supply runs out. that's the same price as this year's early birds.
http://www.lollapalooza.com/tickets/index.htmlwhat's with lolla selling tickets this far in advance? my theories:
1) next year's festival will have something big that they need a lot of cash for, upfront.
2) they'll invest the money for 6 months and make some extra coin that way
3) they're hoping that a percentage of people who buy tickets this far in advance won't attend, therefore they can sell more tickets.
4) the organizers are raking in the money while they can and will be disappearing to some third world country with the cash. there will be no lolla 2010.
thoughts?
