I'll be there, looking forward to it. Hoping to hear a track or two from Vanishing Point, but I have a feeling that won't happen :-/ .

I liked them better in their Xterminator and Evil Heat days...but thinking about going to this...toss up between this, or staying in Baltimore to see Asobi Seksu.

Awesome evening and performance...something for everyone! Trippy, psychedelic blues, straightforward Stonesy rock, full on dance/electronica, total Stooges assault. They did it all and I think everyone will be into it. Don't miss this show!

The opener is Kuroma.  There are sound samples on their (his?) website:

http://www.kuromamusic.com/index.html

The website seems to lack a bio, but I found this article/interview online:

I'm digging the songs over on the Kuroma website, the band's material will fit in nicely with Primal Scream set.  The mini bio is it's the  project of the bass player who was a foundering member in the Whigs and has also toured with MGMT...

Seems like a lot of folks are going - are we still sure there are going to be tickets at the door?  Definitely don't want to miss this...

I would be SO shocked if it was even close to selling out. There were maybe 150 people at the Philly show.

Wow.  That's a real shame.

I guess this is one of the reasons why Pulp, Suede, Manic Street Preachers, etc. never tour the US!

That is sad (re. the Philly attendance)... I remember Primal Scream's show circa "Exterminator" as pretty well-attended.

In fact, there were even noisy meathead types who looked like they would have gladly beaten up the members of Primal Scream in high school, had they been given the chance.
