I'd buy some of this

http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/squeez-bacon.html

If they can't develop Squeeze Bacon, then Bacon Jam will have to suffice...

A savory blend of bacon, onions, spices, and balsamic vinegar,  Spread on grilled cheese, burgers, and toast.

Not a perfect food, but definitely a perfect sleeping quarters:

Tauntaun Sleeping Bag
In the sub-zero wasteland of the planet Hoth, only the strong survive... and of course those lucky Jedi protected by the thick skin of a Tauntaun. Now after exhaustive movie viewing research and analysis ThinkGeek Labs has isolated the exact synthetic compounds needed to re-create Tauntaun fur. What have we done with this supreme knowledge? Created a Tauntaun sleeping bag of course.

If you haven't already heard this became a real product....

OK it is off the bacon theme but...  Several years ago while attending an event at the Richmond Coliseum, I noticed the following sign hanging on the back wall of the concession stand.

Richmond Concessionaires Now Proudly Serves Fully Digestible Hotdogs!

Which of course begs the question...

I really should have stolen that sign and mailed it to Letterman.

I did...took everything in my power not to buy it when it came out.  I've got a kid on the way...I'll live vicariously through them using it :)

I did see this the other day too:
