Oh, fuck that.
^^^^ Times one million.
So I guess we found the show to send Julian to!
I got an Andrew Jackson ready for this ....(transportation and lodging might make this $$)

It would be cheaper to send him to see David Sedaris in Frederick tonight.

LOL this is a great and TRUE list

I would physically assault Malcolm Gladwell if I ever had the opportunity to do so. He's top three on my no-talent, not-interesting assclown list with David Sedaris and the assclown that's responsible for Hamilton.
I knew I liked you. If Modern Family was a person, it would immediately jump to the top of this list.

Peter Murphy Announces Manhattan Residency Featuring Solo Albums, Bauhaus Classics

Peter Murphy announced an 11-show New York residency on Friday. From Aug. 2 to Aug. 18, the Godfather of Goth will perform 11 different programs at Manhattan club Le Poisson Rouge.

The first eight shows will feature full renditions of eight of Murphy's nine studio albums, released between 1986 and 2014. The only album not to receive a live treatment will be 2004's Shattered.

On Aug. 15, Murphy will perform "greatest hits" from his solo catalog, and the following night he'll perform classics from his seminal '80s band Bauhaus during "Bauhaus' Mr Moonlight." Murphy will close the run on Aug. 18 with "Tribute to David Bowie," a set of music honoring the Thin White Duke.

Pitchfork and October are excited to announce OctFest 2019. The third annual celebration of beer, music, and food takes place on October 19 at New York City’s Knockdown Center. This year’s lineup includes Parquet Courts, Mogwai, Screaming Females, Dungen performing their 2004 album Ta det Lugnt in its entirety, Lower Dens, Duster, METZ, Priests, Empath, and Control Top.

Over 50 breweries from six continents will be represented at this year’s OctFest, including international brewers like Brouwerij Bosteels (Belgium), Nicaragua Craft Beer Co., Camden Town (United Kingdom), and Collective Arts (Canada). Domestic brews will be provided by Firestone Walker (Pasa Robles, CA), Rogue (Newport, OR), Wicked Weed (Asheville, NC), Boulevard (Kansas City, MO), Blue Point (Patchogue, NY), and more. Find the full list of breweries here. The curated culinary program will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets are on sale this Friday for $45, which comes with six 3 oz. beer samples. Beer sampling hours are 3-8 p.m. and festival hours are from 3-11 p.m.
