Wow, smack.  That's some good stuff (and Rhett wonders how we can have a list of 20 - 30 "to see" shows, not that I make them all, but they're on the 'interested' list).

Sat 04/10/04 The Juliana Theory Slim's

As a heads up, expect the Britney crowd.  I have a friend who's a fan and gave me one or two albums (I had no idea what their deal was), so I went to see them with her at 9:30.  Wow, we may have been two of the ten folks at the show (of only about 100-150, by the way) who could buy a drink legally.  They were okay, but kind of cheezy.  As it's a Sat night, not sure you want to use it for them.  But, it could be fun, what the hell.

 Sat 03/20/04 Fishbone The Independent
Sat 03/20/04 Franz Ferdinand w/ The Tyde The Independent

So does this means all three are playing?  If that's the case, mother of god -- how much fun!!?!!

Wed 04/07/04 Raveonettes Bottom Of The Hill

I found their show really boring.  Maybe they've gotten better; I saw them when just the EP was out.  Won't catch them when they come through DC...

I purposely left the 4 times the Old 97's are playing here off the list to see if Rhett would double check my "math".

My bad.  The Franz show w/ the Tyde is at Slims.  Fishbone is at the Independent.

My only other option is to see them open for the Strokes a week later so I thought I would check the warm-up show with just them.  We'll see.

Thanks for your offer, Lily.  Smackette loves the Frames.  She has taken all of my CD's.  I just recently picked up "Setlist" (the live Dublin CD) and I haven't even had a chance to listen to it because she's had since we got home from Ameoba.  We won't be missing that show.

I think Damien Rice is available on Napster so I'll download it and check it out.
