it is amusing how a band and its interest to you can be manipulated by what songs of theirs are played by one's musical source of choice, mine being mainly sirius radio. the disco biscuits or bisco whatever, first came on strong to me as the, "band of why didn't i like it before this?" electronica jam. nice. then they did this free web stream of one of their shows a month or so ago to promote the release of their new album. wow. what a strange difference. but then i never knew them or saw them as a live band five years ago, so maybe something just happened. but the overall effect was sloppy, misdirectional, and totally turning the audience into a state of "uhmm, do we like this?"
but who really cares . . . the real talent will be on 13th between e and f on that evening. the staph should switch places with the security they normally use at the warner for the night. you'll have a more polite "oh, i'm sorry i bumped into you and spilled half your beer. here, let me buy you another. where ya from, mate?" time.
