Bottles on the black market apparently can sell for as much as $1,000.
so craft beer needs to be sold on the black market?!?

I know there are many here that are pro-scapling, I assume the same goes for beer

I'm assuming you meant, "anti" scalping?
no I've been "attacked" here for complaining about scalping
it's a capitalist society and supply and demand makes it ok to sell nosebleed seats for $400
not all for sure, but there are many here who think that's ok

I was not aware of this... I thought this was an anti scalping crowd. I've only over paid for tickets twice in my life, I usually take advantage of scalpers so I encourage their business.

I would likely do it, and i would not buy tickets at that price. But I think it's ok if others choose to do it. I feel the same way about abortion too, btw.

How does my being ok with others doing it  mean that I'm attacking you?

I think it is fair to say, that people always think you are attacking them.   ;D

I guess Stone Brewery in Richmond had their soft-opening of their new facilities this afternoon. . .

Looks like the brewery itself won't be brewing beer until June/July, and the brewpub won't open for another couple years...

Any word on the street when the Veil will open?

I also saw that the Answer is expanding...great...we'll have even more space to ourselves the next time we're there. Been there twice, huge space, amazing beer (theirs and others), but completely empty both times.
They're saying "brewed in RVA" beer by May, apparently. Yes, its just the tasting room that's open.

I can ask someone more in the know re: Veil.

Looks like they're doing their first brew tomorrow...

Tropical Bitch...much better than I was expecting.  Sweetness / fruit is balanced and not cloying. Fair amount of bitterness with recognizable "Belgian" character. 8% ABV.
