does nothing special for me, it's a light summer-time beer IMO.  tastes better in italy, because everything tastes better there.

i'm a big fan of wheat beers so i was excited when i heard about this... but it gets a "meh".  a little too sweet.

Or if you're broke....PBR?

Had one of these (below) a couple months ago and felt kind of nausous for 3 days afterwards. Not from the alcohol but something about the mix itself. Tasted okay but just didn't sit well with me. For what it's worth, I wouldn't take that as an indictment on the beer though because lots of beers are like that for me. Best if I stick with either really bland lighter tasting (not to be confused with 'lite') beers or stouts. All those in betweens can be risky.

I'm finding out as I get older that it's getting harder and harder to bounce back after drinking these heavy and hoppy beers.  I grabbed a six of some Smuttynose Pumpkin ale last week...drank ONE and felt like someone had crapped in my mouth the next morning.

Fortunately, a kind distributor has decided to start bringing Strongbow into the suburban wasteland of NoVA.

dogfish head pumpkin ale is absolutely delicious, if you don't mind a little sweet in your beer.  i've generally been impressed with 21st Ammendment's offerings, although i haven't tasted "back in black".

This is the best pumpkin beer I've had. Better than Dogfish. This is definitely more pumpkin-y than Dogfish Punkin, whose pumpkin flavor to me is more subtle. I had a sample at my local Whole Foods, but they said they're out and may not get more. Anybody seen it anywhere in the NoVA burbs or DC?
