in case there are any other rockville residents reading this: Dawson's Market, in rockville center, will start filling growlers "very soon."  they have the equipment in place, just waiting for their growler bottles to come in.  MoCo law says they can only fill "containers branded in the name of the license holder" so that means that can't fill external growlers... but the guy i spoke with wondered aloud if putting a Dawsons sticker on your growler constituted "branding".

It warms my heart that my financial loss was not your financial gain.

Wow, Ab InBev got a lot of money from me this week. I feel like atomicfront picked my pocket.

Actually I sold after 3 weeks of owning it.  It went up 9 percent in 3 weeks and I felt it was overvalued to begin with.  So no more money to me.  If it goes back down I will buy again but until then if you are in China use China Mobile.

Just another weekend at Fairfax Whole Foods...

And then there are the kegs. Dear, sweet delicious kegs. Here are a few options you can expect to see on tap in the next few days...
Terrapin White Chocolate Moo
Widmer Gentleman's Club
Victory Braumeister Pils
Victory Harvest Ale
Victory DirtWolf
Bear Republic Racer X
Founders Backwoods Bastard (yup, got another keg)
Founders Sweet Repute
Goose Island BCBS
Great Lakes Blackout Stout
I don't know about you, but I think it's going to be a good weekend.
Cheers!

Turn your beer bottles into cool glasses

Done this. Mine happen to be Stone as well. Not hard at all but you do ruin a few along the way.

I don't think I understand your question?

Bomber = large bottle
BCCS = coffee

Oops, I was focused on growlers. My bad. Whole Foods had 32 oz of Regular BCBS for $14, which was a pretty good deal too.

The 12 oz bottles of 2013 were around $6, so is $14 for a bomber really that good? But yes, that's  indeed a discount on what most places charged for a 2012 bottle.

And I think you're missing a "B" somewhere. Wouldn't it be BCBCS?  ;)

I suppose I'm missing a B... however, I've never seen a 12oz bottle of coffee, only bombers which last year were around $22, at least where I purchased them and around $28 to $30 in restaurants/bars.

So to have it for $14, I consider it a good deal.

Ah, I see.

I got a bomber of Coffee for $12 last year. I remember it being mispriced, now I know by how much!
