Been meaning to go, but haven't. Tentatively planning on going NEXT weekend....if the weather is nice and we can combine it with some Fall hiking.

Adroit Theory, Corcoran, Lost Rhino, and Old Ox are all in Loudoun County. Haven't checked out any of them, but hope to check out all eventually.

anyone been?

Adroit Theory looks to have some very interesting beverages.

I went to Adroit Theory a few months ago. Nothing was mind blowing, but I liked that they're not your typical area brewery making average pale ales. An imperial saison was the best beer I had. It was a little annoying that the 2 beers on the menu that sounded the most interesting were only available to their club members. Monk's BBQ about a mile from there was really good.

this guy put together a great site as a resource for all the breweries/brewpubs along the WO&D bike trail
http://www.bikeablebrews.com/
well he did add other things on there like bars and such

but on a 45 mile ride there are 10 breweries/brewpubs along the WO&D bike ...ending with Adroit

too bad these places aren't open before 10am, which is usually when I'm on the trail

So, uhh, I guess Stone Brewery is putting a 12 acre brewery just down the hill from me. I'm told this is a big deal?

This is going to be half a mile from me and I will literally roll out the red carpet. There will be champagne Sabres and private dining rooms and a printed itinerary down to the minute. I will even try to work in all of our local breweries.

I haven't gotten over there yet. The food at Mekong was fantastic though.

That's what I like so much about Mekong. Usually, brewpubs for a vegetarian means some kind of grilled Portobello sandwich with fries. Which can be good, but monotonous and lazy/lacking creativity.

Whereas at Mekong, you get Vietnamese food (hence decent vegetarian choices) with your world class beer choices. Actually, as you said, you get fantastic Vietnamese food.

The article said the Answer is only serving guest beers at this point. I did have a beer at Mekong that An collaborated with Cigar City on a while ago, and it was great. So I'm hoping that points to the beers at the Answer being consistently great as well. (Unlike a certain DC brewery/brewpub where the beers are hit and miss, helmed by a certain pale, shaggy guy who got his start at another DC beer-centric restaurant).
