fresh back from 2 weeks in Baja.  nothing but Corona, Tecate, Dos Equis and Pacifico - AKA a beer wasteland.

got home and immediately knocked back a Westie 12, Allagash Farm to Face, Almanac Dogpatch Sour and a homebrewed chocolate imperial stout while catching up on (american) football.

all is good now.

swung by de garde brewing on sunday

cool story, bro (no, seriously, sounded like a very cool experience!).

brennser hookups are the best.

Wow.

https://www.beermenus.com/places/18255-dominion-wine-and-beer

Wow, wow, wow.

good selection.  i would skip the Mephistopheles and Raison D'Extra, doubtful that either of those are great fresh.  i'd be all over that Flower Power.  if i was buying a growler for the masses, Mirror Pond and Pale 31 would be my choices.

I just got back from a bunch of breweries in NoCo.  Supposedly the beer's pretty good there, but I wouldn't know.

Oskar Blues
Left Hand
Big Beaver
Grimm Brothers

Are the one's I can remember.

i always like this list.

happy proleteriat gets a feature. i love that place.

i live a block or two from both pine box and stumbling monk, life is good. the omission of brouwers is by far the most egregious i can note for this years list.  it may be the best beer bar in the country, period, and yes, i realize toronado is also not listed.
