it's a very good saison, one of the first that got me into the style.  one of the reasons it won is because of how widely available it has become... people will vote for what they know.

acquiring a bottle of yellow rose IPA next week.  anyone tried it? the texas IPA fanboys have basically made this thing out to be the headytopper of texas.

never tried it, but it's single-hopped with mosaic AKA must be good

meh, i must spend too much on beer.  $12 for 4 bottles of quality 9% beer doesn't seem that noteworthy to me.  it's $11 at Total Wine.

so I saw this beer from Harrisonburg, va the other day, and I was like what, gurl, my neck of the woods making them selves some beer, oh hell yeah and then some, and then I tried it and I was like, ok, I can like this, and be proud to say I like it, so there.

so I went to a beer store, and I bought some beer.

1.  omme,gang   rare vos
2.  trap,pistes  rochefort 8
3.  fire,stone   double jack
4.  green flash   soul style ipa  (beer guy raved about it . . . tasted it, ok.)
5.  Deschutes   fresh squeezed ipa (in LOVE with this one)
6.  green flash  palate wrecker

7.  the last 4 packs of founders double,trouble in all the shenandoah valley
