There was a big debate on Beer Advocate forums about those labels. It seemed a lot of people thought they were aiming for the twee hipster market.

I'm not sure how i feel about them. Their old labels were sort of boring anyway.

Thought both Hutch and Yada would find some interest in this
cheap beer taste test

Yuengling...the best of the worst!
Yada will like this quote: Yuengling. Smells like a bar bathroom.

you didn't seem to have a problem when i offered you one before holy holy... come to think of it you seemed pretty grateful

I call out the beer snobs..

in tragic news BJs is out of Yuengling due to the SUper Bowl.. I was a bit freaked out so I went to customer service but was placated by "OH NO WE would never stop carrying it.. it sells way too much.."

let me be clear...I (unfortunately) drink yuengling regularly  :-\
if money were no object, I'd be drinking craft brews and specialty releases all the time
I'd have a killer home brew set up and have stouts and sours coming out the yingyang

but I've got a lot of mouths to feed and bills to pay on my salary
so I can't be drinking the good stuff more than a few times a month

but I can still mock your preference for the cheapest beer

I do find it mildly funny that you keep coming to the beer thread

I can only drink Yuengling and Miller High Life on that list... the rest i find utterly gross.. I dont' care how cheap they are...

I've drank a million beers and I've tried them all and in general cheap beers are horrible.. PBR gives me a headache....Keystone is gross... Gennesse which I wrote about on this board I could not even finish the case and just chucked it....

i don't know about the Yuengling hate..after Foggy Bottom closed it was the defacto DC beer and people enjoyed it then and I still do today.. but now people just want to be snooty so they look down on it..  I mean if I am at the State Theatre and they have a bunch of beers its between Yuengling and Sierra Nevada .. the rest are stuff I won't drink.. don't care

but its true that if I drank beer like some people here "oh lets split an ounce with dinner" maybe I would look at things differently.. but I drink quite a bit of beer so I have to take price into account.. but like yesterday after the BJs fiasco I went to the lost dog and bought a six of Moretti and found it really boring....
