14% but didn't taste like it
label says 13%, makes me wonder what else you are lying about ;)

It says 14% of untappd and DigitalPour, I haven't seen any labels.

Their website says 14%.

https://burialbeer.com/beer/the-abominable-damnation-of-creatures-nevertold/

The other two Burial imperial stouts DTC had on draft also said 14 (one was a barleywine/stout blend.)

^ that seems cool.  would attend.

But then you'd have to drink their mediocre, all high abv, overpriced beer!

true dat... i believe i've only ever tasted two of their beers, and this was 5+ years ago.  they were indeed high ABV, i don't remember the price, but i do remember liking them.  depending on the lineup, i'd be willing to chance it.

An Oskar Blues tap takeover wouldn't normally excite me, but looks like they're sending some big guns to Downtown Crown Friday. I know at least one boardie is a big fan of BBA Ten Fidy.

 Six beers on tap including...
-Double Dale's Imperial IPA
-Western Mutant West Coast IPA
-Double Barrel-Aged Ten FIDY (Bourbon & Brandy)
-Double Barrel Ten FIDY (Port & Bourbon)
-Barrel Aged Three Wisemen Ten FIDY
-Double Barrel Ten FIDY (Four Roses & Appleton)
👀 Flights, full pours, and crowlers available on all!

I am... but not typically driving up 270 and getting bombed. Maybe I'll consider a vial pour.

I did just place an order for a few four packs, so maybe that will be a good pick up time!

I was going to add that though I was saying I was "excited", that doesn't mean I'm planning on going. I probably won't be (unless there's something I *have* to buy and pickup.)

The stouts will likely last until Sunday. The Burlal stouts did. They now serve the high abv stouts in 4 oz and 8 oz pours only (no more 16 oz pours of 14% beers.)

Has anybody checked out Juicy Brewing?  Initial reviews are good. https://untappd.com/JuicyBrewingCo It's in the same location as the original Aslin (good luck at not pissing off the neighbots like Aslin did.) So another beer plave 35 mins from my house.

Serious question, do new or potential new breweries excite you at this point? I mean, we are at absolute peak beer in terms of where we live and what we have access to. There's at least a minimum of probably 10 above average breweries to support within a 30 mile radius of DC, maybe more? Plus shipments of essentially anything you want... Just curious as the option of another haze brewery gets me about as excited as going to Panera Bread in the Wheaton Mall.

ouch...
I still like going and supporting new breweries in the area (or anywhere I travel to)

If the beer is mediocre, that will be my last visit
I'm not as super critical as you guys though

These are not in order or even top ten, but all ones I'd happily go to and drink their beer. I will say out of this list though, I'd probably only buy from four/five of them to drink at my house.

1. Other Half
2. Bluejacket
3. Aslin
4. Ocelot
5. Elder Pine
6. Astro Lab
7. Wheatland
8. Lone Oak
9. Waredaca
10. Right Proper

A fellow forumer has tempted me with a bike ride to Elder Pine, but it seems a bit out of my comfort zone in terms of possibly getting smushed by a car en route.

yeah, quick glance on Google maps looks like it's not an easy or safe ride
unless there are ways to do it through that park it's on
