those were some pretty stupid comments on her part, she should have known better.  having jews leave israel isn't a solution for the current middle east quagmire.

I think it's also worth noting that you can be anti-Israel, and not be anti-Semitic.   That is a fact lost on many people.

ok, fine, as long as you accept that anyone who says "jews have the right to stay in israel" is automatically anti-arab.  it's equally silly, IMO.

So Israel is opening some of their restrictions on goods the palestinians are allowed to have now they can get:

soda, juice, jam, spices, shaving cream, potato chips, cookies and candy.

Really how can anyone think Israel isn't in the wrong in this situation?

And it's not like they use shaving cream anyway.

The palestinians need a martin luther king to lead them peacefully and rationally.  The character of their leadership is predicated on deception and a murderous desire.  Why should it not be assumed that this is the true vharacter of palestinians?  How many 9/11s has israel been subject to?  I believe if change comes within the palestinians apparoach their lot will change.  Israel makes mistakes but they act in self-defense.  How did you feel after 9/11?

Sometimes, when my grandpa says disparaging things about "Japs" and "Krauts", I let it slide beecause I never had millions of them tyring to kill me, so I'm just not sure how quickly I could forgive and forget that stuff.
