The new Brian Eno album is kind of a trip. I don't know what I was expecting but it's got some surprisingly groovy parts.

Finally heard some of the new Bon Iver, sounds like he heard "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" and thought this is great, but it could use even more reverb. Is Dave Gilmour getting some royalties on the back end?

I was listening to that last night (Bon Iver). My wife made a Peter Gabriel comment that I thought was spot on.

My Morning Jacket Cover the Muppets

For the next Muppets movie, Disney has cooked up an ace tribute set titled Muppets: The Green Album, which features top artists like Weezer, Paramore, Andrew Bird, Sondre Lerche, Evanescence's Amy Lee, and others covering classic songs from the Jim Henson songbook (out August 23). One of those highlights is My Morning Jacket's rendition of "Our World," which SPIN is premiering exclusively.

no.  have you?  should i search for it and listen?  i'm rewatching the series on netflix (which i'll gladly pay the new prices).  i'm on the final episode of season 1 this evening.  so good.  i so enjoyed the mark frost directed episode before the final season one, lynch directed episode.  nadine's suicide scene was the best.
