My latest stack of CDs

Did a little catching up at Record and Tape Traders Friday...

The early fav seeing as the 60s was indeed the best era for music.

Maximo Park - "A Certain Trigger" Rapidly growing on me, lots of layers here.
 The Dead 60's -  A mini "Sandinista"
Nouvella Vague - Very well done remakes of 80's classics in a bossa nova style. Including "Too Drunk to Fuck"
Danko Jones - "We Sweat Blood" Like the classic rock fueled swaggertastic tracks at the beginning of the record, but find the Metal stuff towards the end annoying.

If you like British Invasion groups, like the Beatles, The Kinks then you'll enjoy this CD. Nic takes cues from several groups and it works really well...
