coming out to your parents with this whole mental agenda you had planned and ready to deliver, when they already know and would rather ask questions they've been curious about regarding gayness than be the least bit appalled or concerned whether you are or not . . . is a real letdown of sorts.  i'm going to go have to watch charlie brown's thanksgiving now to calm down.

i hate it when people say bless you after you sneeze.  there are no deamons coming out of my nose, or my heart isn't stopping for a second when i sneeze . . . so stop it.

:(

A sneeze is somewhat unsettling to the sneezer.  I think saying "Bless you" is a nice way to acknowledge this, even though we all know that demons aren't going to swoop in and seize your soul.

I am not fond, however, of people who say, "Have a blessed day."  Can't they just say "Have a good day" and leave it at that?

was this already covered someplace else.  will there be a boycott, if we're still even alive then, and nations standing together deciding not to go to an area that will remind us all of those long ago olympics in whatever country that was.

oh and christine . . . i only find the process of saying that amusing and interesting that so many people hold on to that way of thinking.  and with the number of people that give money to mega church ministers, i think you'd be surprised what people think nowadays involving daemons.

double edit:  oh, i see the original point was very much talked aboot, but i don't think anybody mentioned a boycotting conspiracy.

and my favourite is that amazon.com won't have anything to do with wikileaks . . . but books that promote pedophilia is a ok.
